Management of Health and Safety
at Work Regulations 1999

The education sector is no different from the commercial sector when it comes to training staff on Health & Safety issues. The inclusion of pupils of all ages does though add an extra dimension to understanding and balancing safety issues with the need to ensure the school curriculum stays as focused and as enjoyable possible within current safety guidelines.

QS Associates have selected five key areas of safety training which can be completed either on Inset Days or as separate day or half day courses.

• Managing Safety for School Managers and Bursars
• Safety Risk Assessments
• Manual Handling & Work at Height

QS Associates provide a number of short talks or Health & Safety Management Training on basic safety issues  which can be delivered to Governors, School Management and Parent Teacher Associations.
