The Health and Safety (First-aid) Regulations 1981

Assessing the requirements for First Aid cover in terms of numbers of people,  equipment and (where required) emergency arrangements.

 

Machinery/Office Equipment Risk Assessment

The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER)

 Assessing each piece of equipment and its working environment to produce recommendations on noise, maintenance and safe operation.

 

Noise in the Workplace Assessment

The Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005

Hearing damage caused by exposure to noise at work is permanent and incurable. Research estimates that over 2 million people are exposed to noise levels at work that may be harmful.

From monitoring noise levels within the office we will assess any areas in need of attention from noise issues by:

 

  • Stage 1 Is there risk due to noise?
  • Stage 2 Who might be harmed and how?
  • Stage 3 Evaluate the risks and develop a plan to control them.
  • Stage 4 Record the findings.
  • Stage 5 Review the risk assessment.

 

Display Screen Equipment/Workplace Risk Assessments

The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992

We will complete a sample of Display Screen Assessments to judge any future assessments required to ensure compliance and the risks of computer related difficulties your staff may be experiencing from the work environment. From this we will recommend what future assessments and training  will be required.

 

Manual Handling Risk Assessment

The Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992

Whether its merely carrying boxes to manipulating larger loads, our manual handling assessment will assess all manual handing tasks and advise training requirements.

 

Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Assessment

The Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002 (COSHH)

Chemicals fortunately are becoming less of a hazard with the introduction of environmentally friendly substances, nevertheless, chemical assessments of individual chemicals and the effects of multiple use of chemicals will be assessed with recommendations on how to protect the workforce.
