This consultation which commenced on 1st February and ends on 28th March 2010, seeks comment on the proposed Legislative Reform Order that will allow the HSE to make regulations for the protection of animal health under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

This will enable the HSE to introduce a new Single Regulatory Framework covering work with biological agents and genetically modified organisms, covering both human and animal pathogens.
