It was announced today (28th January 2014) by The Prime Minister that Health and Safety Law will be exempt for the self employed. Specific details have yet to be announced, this would take over 1m UK workers out of Health and Safety Regulations. This announcement also pledged to relax rules on safe use of ladders.
